Responsibilities 

Website and digital marketing analysis

  • Setup, implementation and maintenance of Adobe Analytics environment for tracking the website, including country-specific versions
  • Execute Marketing Channel data reporting to provide useful insights to the web and marketing teams around campaign performance for marketing campaigns
  • Analyse data at every stage of the user journey on the website to gain a better understanding of customers’ behaviour by segment and proactively make recommendations on how best to improve site experience & conversion
  • Assist in marketing campaign tracking setup, testing & reporting; making recommendations for best practice, nomenclature and improvement
  • Management and maintenance of Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM) for all websites, working closely with agency partners to ensure implementation is tracking as expected
  • Present detailed, commercial recommendations to inform digital marketing strategy 
  • Develop and maintain digital marketing & web performance dashboards
  • Provide weekly analysis of digital marketing channel & web performance to help understand shifts in KPIs. This will feed directly into the weekly trading meeting.
  • Provide support for ad hoc campaign / performance queries.
  • Own and manage the UTM builder and issue bespoke links as required to facilitate effective campaign tracking.
  • Ensure the alignment of Adobe Analytics data with Salesforce and DCM. Work closely with the MI team and Salesforce as well as our agency partners to achieve this.
  • Provide Adobe Analytics training for company & agency partners when required

Web and Mobile Apps (iOS and Android)

  • Setup, implementation and maintenance of Adobe Analytics environment for tracking the tools that customers use to manage their products including web app and mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Analyse data at every stage of the user journey on web and mobile apps to gain a better understanding of customers’ behaviour and how best to improve user experience
  • Comparing iOS and Android app data to determine differences between device ownership and behaviour

Overall

  • Develop and maintain documentation for all tracking requirements
  • Support web and app functionality & optimisation changes with facilitation of A/B testing and analysis.
  • Own the tracking and tagging across web, mobile and app 
  • Maintain analytics tools and relationships with suppliers (primarily Adobe, MediaCom, Neo@Ogilvy) to ensure robust and reliable reporting
  • Creation and recommendation of new tracking capabilities to enhance custom data insights for both web and mobile apps
  • Ensure alignment across Adobe Analytics, Salesforce and DCM data.

MyEnergy

  • Definition of Adobe Analytics tracking requirements for MyEnergy web tool
  • Work with external web developers (Yard) to get tracking specified, implemented and tested
  • Analyse user data to gain a better understanding of how the MyEnergy customers use the tool and how best to improve the uptake and user experience
  • Work closely with the MyEnergy team to supply data which meets their specific needs
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all tracking requirements

Requirements

  • Advanced web analytics knowledge (Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics) 
  • Advanced tag management knowledge (Adobe DTM and GTM) 
  • Experience in digital optimisation (A/B testing, MVT) 
  • A proven track record of processing large amounts of data 
  • Experience of merging digital data with other sources 
  • A good understanding of digital marketing channels & tracking thereof
  • Ability to clearly communicate data insights at all levels of the business
  • Delivering automated reporting solutions and dashboards
