Amazing opportunity working for one of the leading mobile operators in the Middle East.

Accountable for developing and managing a product portfolio which meets the needs of customers for mobile communications and hits revenue and margin targets. Responsible for managing the change in revenue and margin mix from mobile voice and broadband services. Customer Satisfaction and brand equity will need to be continually improved by working across other departments and divisions, partnering with external organizations and applying best practices.

Reports to and maintains ongoing dialogue with SVP/Consumer Product Marketing and provides updates periodically about operational performance and achievement of key strategic and financial targets. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  1. Understand key customer needs and industry trends, competition, technology, etc.., for the portfolio. 

  2. Monitor and analyze product performance trends from financial, competitive and operational perspectives. 

  3. Seek strategic and operational improvement opportunities from a wide variety of sources including Market, Strategy, Planning and Segment Marketing. 

  4. Develop a rolling 12 month plan for the product portfolio. 

  5. Provide input to the 3 year plan. 

  6. Create, recommend and launch appropriate changes to the product portfolio. 

  7. Create, recommend and develop baseline standard pricing program. 

  8. Identify and recommend changes in delivering capability that may be required by executional teams e.g. Channel, Customer Service, IT.

  9. Manage external vendors to create company benefit and business opportunities. 

  10. Define and review all policies, procedures and guidelines for Product Marketing Team and monitor and supervise implementation. 

  11. Monitor quality assurance measures and standards to ensure compliance with corporation practices and international standards; ensure respective functions effectively support the corporate objectives, targets, standards and procedures. 

Person Specification: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing 
  • MBA preferred 
  • 8-10 years of experience in product marketing or similar capacity
