Purpose of the Role...

  • Management of all areas relating to LED
  • Development of product strategy, product marketing and propositions
  • Maximise revenue, market share and profitability for the product category
  • Identify and expand into new market opportunities
  • Relay information from HQ on product roadmap to external and internal stakeholders

Key Objectives

  • Create a strategy for the product category
  • Develop best in class relationships with channel partners
  • Oversee the development of a rolling roadmap and core range, managing the relationships with HQ and SCM to ensure that the roadmap is built for the needs of the UK customer, consumer ensuring sales growth is delivered
  • Lead the development of propositions for the product range
  • Manage the positioning, briefing, messaging and marketing development
  • Lead the liaison with HQ, EHQ and supply chain
  • Delivery of product life cycle calendar and key launch plans
  • Own forecasting management for the category

Key Responsibilities...

 

Technical

  • Oversee the development and delivery of all products for the Company range, minimizing time to market wherever possible

 

Competitive

  • Oversee and direct the collation of Industry Analysis, Competitor Analysis, and Competitor Intelligence
  • Ensure plans to win are in place vs. competition

 

Flagship Products

  • Ensure that all flagship products are supported with the appropriate proposition development
  • Agree key USPs, clear messaging

 

Pricing

  • Own the overall Company pricing process, providing competitor context and local Company strategy
  • Own TIM management 

 

Sales

  • Pipeline collection from channel partners and end user sales team
  • Coordinate and create tender responses where applicable
  • Support end user meetings with channel and sales teams where appropriate
